Oct 6, 2024 · TR. after climbing chipmunks we rapped down this to access charge the farm. since we had a second rope we hucked the whole dang thing to the ledge and used that to climb ctf and then TR’ed this to get back to the chipmunk anchor and rap back to its base to hike out with loncler | glenn kirby

Charge the Farm!
Oct 6, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. really great in the first two thirds - holds are small but very good, and feet are there. towards the top there’s a pinchy slopey undercling that i didn’t love and once you make it past that the holds all get real thinned out to the anchor. didn’t realize i TR’d this last year, thought i had led it. in response to my previous tick, i was indeed puckered on lead. turns out i thought a lot of things about prospect that weren’t exactly as i remembered them | glenn kirby

Oct 6, 2024 · Follow. it all started when we convinced lincoln to start rock climbing. we brought him up work shoes to whet his whistle. it was love at first onsight. celebrations were had - corndogs, milkshakes, a trip to oge. then we took him to prospect. before lincoln our weekend missions have been full of success, but one thing was always missing - a friend to sandbag. as lincoln approached the crux of the climb, where an easy slab becomes a vertical wall to mantle over. the rope stopped moving. “he must be at the crux,” i said. “hm” glenn replied with a raise of the eyebrows. there were a few minutes of silence. then a shout from below “um. guys.. how am i supposed to get over this??” glenn and i cackled from above. idk how i deleted the memory of the crux. in my head this was a very moderate chill climb | glenn kirby, lincoln pierce

Oct 5, 2024 · Lead / Flash. camped at eagle hollow last night. clear skies for stars and blue skies in the morning but rained all night. decided to drive to the dome to get some sun and dry rock. did team of 3 parallel for the first time. went perfectly - no twists the whole time. with double 70s we rapped in 2 - to the knocked over tree top of p2 and then to the ground. stellar day! 1:50 | glenn kirby, lincoln pierce
