Ragged Edge
Aug 18, 2023 · Lead / Flash. I led all 6 pitches* clean, with Ella. Hands down best climbing day of my life so far. Car to car in 14h42min. Alltrails: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/recording/ragged-edge-at-vesper-peak-735143e * so, we traversed around Vesper Peak until we hit some super sketchy 4th / 5th class climbing. We roped up and continued traversing. I ended up running into the bolts at the top of the first pitch of the variation, and we climbed from there.

Zig Zag
Aug 14, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. Did this as a 2-pitch climb. P1 up the open-book corner to bolted anchors. P2 traverses right and up onto slabs, up to a corner system. You climb the inside left side of the corner. There’s a cam jammed in the crux, which is definitely the last 5 moves on P2. Feels super exposed and heady for the grade, but the holds are great. Trust your feet and layback! You’ll be solid. A BD #1 C4 protects the moves after that jammed cam really well. Make sure to put a runner on it.

Jul 20, 2023 · Lead / Redpoint. Save a blue offset nut to protect the crux. Can also protect it well with a #5.
