May 16, 2026 · 7 pitches. Lead / Fell/Hung. Climbed with Saining.. lead 1, 3-4, 6 & 7 First pitch was quite heady .. placed black totem just before tree and slipped. followed 2nd pitch and felt little harder then expected.. linked 3& 4 .. 3rd was easy and saved with bolts . 4th pitch is short and have some roof , loose climbing , placed # 4 at the end .. this takes you to ledge that connects to voyager.. ledge is full with loose small rocks. be careful not to drop rock below you.. 5th pitch is 2nd money pitch .. sustained but protects well .. Followed. 6th pitch is short, traverse left and go 5ft down to get the hidden arete, protected with 2 bolts but still have to commit for lie back .. 7th pitch is stellar pitch of the route, start with hand jam and crack gets thinner, takes .5 purple and .75 green with some footholds.. later just thin crack and tiny foot hold , i placed yellow and blue totem .. then face moves with 2 bolts trending left and unprotected climbing trends right. marginally saved by blue totem. both of us lead 7th pitch. we carried doubles of .2 to 4 and extra purple and green which came useful. felt like Manyna. can avoid 1 #4 though. we mistakenly dropped our red bd from the 7th pitch and do know that it was found ..looking for return - thanks !

May 11, 2026 · 1 pitch. Lead / Fell/Hung. Climbed w/Jan. sustained climb, though occasionally ill get finger slot to make hard moves. getting to first ledge that seemed to relatively easy from bottom was quite hard and almost fell there .. i think i hang at middle of the route twice and then committed for next move and had good hand jam. gear beta : carry 2 black totem to #1 bd. didnt use #2 nuts was helpful to carry.

May 10, 2026 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Perfect 10d crack. fell in middle of the route probably just after purple cam territory as I spent too much time decide which gear to place. this is quite a long rote with few rest points .. save blue and black totem for the very last finger section. used all the gear on this route !

May 10, 2026 · TR. climbed w/Jan. not a soft 10. did it after yin yang burn. good climbing with lie back moves.. moving to anchor was quite a small traverse but good underclan. bolts are just with rap rings.. had to build gear anchor to rap.

May 9, 2026 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Climbed with Jan. lead 2,4,6 &7. 1st pitch - hard 11a and set the pace for entire route.. - fell twice at same spot, sustained. 2nd pitch - easier then 10c or may be 10b. 3rd pitch - money pitch -followed- fell once at the beginning , hard and sustained. 4th - boulder problem . slipped after the bolt - stupid. protected the thin crack with yellow totem and then high clipped the bolt. then went for underclan with right hand and bring left foot close to underclan.. press and reach to jug .. got it in 2nd try. 5th pitch - followed - fell once at last section of the pitch. 6th : traverse going low. first clipped the bolt and then moved to traverse going low. 7th pitch : both of us lead that pitch .. not sure its 11a pr softer but hard move was right off the ground with sketch feet and finger lock. rest was ok. Gear : did take 3 set from .3 to #1 BD , however since pitch are shorts can go with std rack up to #3. I believe we used # 4 twice. nice to see familiar faces from gym and get the gear bet for the boulder problem ..

May 6, 2026 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Graduated with Yifan. passed year one with no issue but took break 2nd year at the crux.. should have continued climbing rather wasting time placing gear and not even using it. 3rd year followed short but very good crack lines. overall chill day bolts were placed rightly. thought its just 5.9 ..
