Aug 31, 2025 · Lead. Climbed with Winnie on SCMA trip as finish after Hemaphrodite Flake. Felt less secure on slab and was more scared than previous days. Was actually slipping off a bit on the start of second pitch, but was eventually able to get on. With a 70-meter, did three rappels (the middle rappel from a slung rock and locking carabiner). Walk-off from there was absolutely terrifying-- down-climbing on class 3 slab. Very glad once on solid ground. From there, it around 1:30pm and drove the 6-ish hrs. back to L.A.
