● Finger Licker
Jun 19, 1981 · Lead / Redpoint. The first pitch actually used to be rated a consensus 5.10, back when I was just a wee little whippersnapper like you. Now harder due to holds breaking. The first pitch is a proud, thin lead, & a little tricky. Especially before micro cams existed.

Jul 1, 1980 · Lead / Onsight. One of Donner’s best, but crowded, 5.9 hand cracks. Crux is the wide move at 50’. Good TR anchors for the less committed crack neophyte. Take 100 laps on it. FA: Moses Schallenberger, 1845.

Aug 23, 1978 · Lead / Onsight. Classic fingers to hands crack, with one OW move up top. All well protected. A great place to solidify your technique, then take laps on it for decades. FA: Eric Beck, 1973.

Jun 25, 1977 · Lead / Onsight. I’ve probably taken 100 laps on this thing, starting in the mid-70s; a scared kid. Kim Schmitz route, 1971. Did the FA take rat’s tooth right side or the flared chimney? Kim’s gone now. Both are listed in Beck’s ‘73 guide. Both classic. Do both.
