Sep 15, 2024 · Lead. Nuts only lead. Placed 4 offset nuts only which made this one fun.

Sep 15, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Guy next to us said, "it's harder than it looks". That's an understatement. Damn that's a stout 9+. Lost my footing in the flaring second traverse move and had to take. Bring doubles of all micro cam sizes, triples of finger size.

Bishops Terrace
Sep 2, 2024 · Lead / Flash. Went climber's right and did a #5 size big flake/block off-width variation. Would have been nice to have a #5 for that. Double #4s would have been good. Having only one was spicy. Cool route, very full on for a 5.8...true Valley grading on this one.

Regular Route
Aug 31, 2024 · Lead. Led P1 (crux pitch), 2, 3 (personal favorite), 6, 7, and all the easy 5th all the way to the top P1 crux had water running down the crack which made it extra challenging. Did the 5.9 variation on P6. Pretty wicked roof but sent it clean. Brought triple rack and would do so again. Double rack of offset nuts would have found use. All the slings you can carry. Took 14 and would take 18 next time since pitches are super long

StrikeSlip
Aug 30, 2024 · Lead. Led the crux pitches (P1 & P3). P3 has good thought provoking, delicate face climbing sequences on it. Relatively cruiser overall. Easy approach. Guidebook is wrong about P1, it has 4 bolts on it, not 1.

V8 Crack
Aug 25, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Super burly. First time leading something this hard and it was a great one to get on Nothing smaller than yellow totem needed. Take all the .75, 1, 2, and 3 you've got and a friend's cams too if you want to stitch it up. Otherwise there's a lot of back cleaning. Two #4s wouldn't go unused. Chain anchor with mussy hooks
