Apr 12, 2024 · 12 pitches. Lead / Onsight. Runout gear in the chimneys. Chimneys are very physical. Top pitches are monotonous 5.8 jug hauling. At least 3 full rope lengths of low 5th, real climbing before the 3rd ledge ramp traverse off. There are bolt stations along this section that aren’t listed on any topo. The ledge traverse is exposed and about 150m long to the big pine tree finish. From there, put on approach shoes and scramble. Head into the saddle, targeting the right hand peak. Descend the ridge off it, following cairns and a rugged climbers trail off the skiers right side. Prepare for a long, heinous descent over rugged, loose terrain with lots of parkour moves. Took 2+ hours with Lisa and Jeremy.
