Great Red Book
Feb 8, 2023 · Lead / Flash. Lead pitch 1 instead of 2 this time. Followed on pitch 2. I remember following on pitch 1 last time felt pretty easy but today on lead, it felt super scary and I wasn't sure which way to go. I ended up traversing left out of the crack just before the first set of anchors which was the right move. Staying in the crack would have been difficult to go up over a roof and would have ended up to the right of anchors. We rapped in 2 pitches from the op with a twin 70m. It almost got us to the ground in one pitch but was just short. Not worth the effort rapping and didn't save much time. next time I would bring just one 60m rope and walk off.

Feb 13, 2022 · TR. Should have lead it. It wasn't that bad! Crux was getting over the bulge. There's a good left hand crimp immediately to the left of the right hand hold - almost like a match - before getting feet higher and going for right hand small crimp in pocket.
