Jul 10, 2022 · 1 pitch. Lead / Onsight. Agree there are only a move or two that fits the high grade, but I would call those moves 10d. Not sustained 10+, but a handful of tricky and crimpy moves made this one quite fun.

Jul 9, 2022 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Took a fall right before it eased up after the crux. Pretty pumpy! But really fun. I’d say 10d.

Jul 9, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Fun. First pitch is awkward. Better to link first two two avoid prospect of falling ten feet onto your belayer. Cool airy traverse. Third pitch is fun, but a little sketchy above the bolts. Keep big gear for up high.

Jun 26, 2022 · Lead / Pinkpoint. Pink site? Fun thin moves. A great climb. Crux for me was a few? bolts up where I had to put my right hip into the wall to get a high left foot to lay back up.

Jun 26, 2022 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Took a fall at the crux, then figured out my sequence. Right hand softball squeeze w left foot stemmed wide. Crossover left hand to nice edge. Adjust feet a little higher and lock off for a high far right jug, then move left to other obvious jug. Still a little tricky after that.

Jun 25, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Totally worth it. A mini marathon. Three or four or five great pitches with a lot of scrambling in between, but so cool to serpentine up the cliff via the line of least resistance. Olivia belayed me up the whole shebang. Our first serious mission together. Well done.

Apr 10, 2022 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Took a fall right after the traverse out right. Figured out to immediately traverse back up and to the left. Don’t think I’d have too much trouble RP’ing in the future. Fun tricky moves down low before the traversing business which is slightly overhung. Great route. A good warmup for the business next door.

Apr 9, 2022 · TR. Took one fall at the top where the feet aren’t obvious, but later got it clean while TR’ing Stems. Work the left foot up to a high ledge out left to reach the next finger pocket high right. From there, power to the top. Would like to dial in the gear and lead this one.

Apr 9, 2022 · TR. Very fun climb. Crux was getting to a high finger jam in the left crack half way up. Second crux is just going for it up high on the right. I got a helpful belay, but I think I only hung once. Pretty sure I can TR it clean. Gear would be real tough. All small. Maybe one day I’ll practice placing on TR.

Mar 31, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. This one was really fun. Much better than it’s neighbor with fun movement on more secure rock. The final pitch was an amazing traverse that was enjoyable to piece together. Graywolf did the heavy lifting on lead. We did it in three pitches with me taking the middle three.

Mar 31, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Felt very inferior to Off the Couch, mainly due to the nature of the rock. Quite a bit of choss up there including on the money pitch, which would be very cool if the rocks weren’t crumbling. Skipped the 7th, because we had just topped out the ridge a little to the left. Up and down both climbs in sub 5 hours. Not too bad.

Mar 29, 2022 · Lead / Pinkpoint. Couuuuld have gotten the on-site. Definitely could still get the RP. A delicate mantle on small holds gets you onto a thin rail. There are good feet, but I had trouble locating my right foot on the first go.

Mar 28, 2022 · Lead / Fell/Hung. 11b crux was hard. Started on the right, but should have been on the left I think. Pulled the crux, but fell right after. It was a bit of a junk show. The third pitch was great. Awesome hand crack action.

Mar 25, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Did this with Wolf. He led first two which were fairly hard with some polished feet on an otherwise cool layback feature. I led the last two, which had a great but short finishing pitch that traversed out onto an exposed face with a fun sequence.

Mar 25, 2022 · Lead / Pinkpoint. Maybe a little more fun and slightly harder than Marklar next door. Kind of a puzzle with the traversing moves here and there. The first clip was uncomfortable because of the height, but not too difficult of climbing to get to it.

Mar 23, 2022 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Fell/hung or on-site 11a AO. Led a couple of the 10d’s clean. Very, very fun climbing. A lot of classic pitches, including the last 10d which I had to battle through, but enjoyed so much. Aided through the 12 moves, but free’d the rest. Up and down in 12 hours. The raps were cleared in 2.5 hours. 23 of them!! The rope and I became very intimate with the local fauna on the way down, but they eventually and begrudgingly allowed us passage back to tierra firma.

Mar 22, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Fun climb. Nothing to write home about, but an enjoyable morning with a cool top out up high. We did it in 5 pitches. I linked the two 10b’s and the last pitch. It was challenging, but a lot of the challenge up there is deciphering choss from trustworthy rock. Great intro to EPC multi, but probably wouldn’t do it again.

Feb 17, 2022 · Lead / Redpoint. Super cool. Hand jams, fist jams, stemming, smearing, back stepping, steep face climbing, and runout finish. Slipped out of the fist section on first try. Gotta stay alert there. A little slippery.
