Adjust feet a little higher and lock off for a high far right jug, then move left to other obvious jug. Still a little tricky after that.

Don’t think I’d have too much trouble RP’ing in the future. Fun tricky moves down low before the traversing business which is slightly overhung. Great route. A good warmup for the business next door.

I got a helpful belay, but I think I only hung once. Pretty sure I can TR it clean. Gear would be real tough. All small. Maybe one day I’ll practice placing on TR.

The final pitch was an amazing traverse that was enjoyable to piece together. Graywolf did the heavy lifting on lead. We did it in three pitches with me taking the middle three.

Quite a bit of choss up there including on the money pitch, which would be very cool if the rocks weren’t crumbling. Skipped the 7th, because we had just topped out the ridge a little to the left. Up and down both climbs in sub 5 hours. Not too bad.

Mar 23, 2022 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Fell/hung or on-site 11a AO. Led a couple of the 10d’s clean. Very, very fun climbing. A lot of classic pitches, including the last 10d which I had to battle through, but enjoyed so much. Aided through the 12 moves, but free’d the rest. Up and down in 12 hours. The raps were cleared in 2.5 hours. 23 of them!! The rope and I became very intimate with the local fauna on the way down, but they eventually and begrudgingly allowed us passage back to tierra firma.

It was challenging, but a lot of the challenge up there is deciphering choss from trustworthy rock. Great intro to EPC multi, but probably wouldn’t do it again.
