Get a Horse
Jun 10, 2023 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Got a horse! This was a real struggle. Gear is good. Lots of large cam placements. Got scared and sewed it up and then wished I had another #2 and 3 up higher. Be more strategic with gear (I brought doubles), or bring hexes. Planned to set an anchor before the climb veers right and out of sight, but didn't have the right gear. Instead set an anchor on the ledge and made a second easy pitch to a tree anchor up top. Maybe pushed it a little far on this one. Extra pressure cause there were a ton of Jack and Josh's friend's watching.
