Tried to lead it, got a little spooked and pumped out in the knobs, couldn't get it together to pull into the crux, which is a bit of an awkward move to the left and then back to the right. Had a somewhat poorly placed .2 in the horizontal, a better cam may have inspired more confidence. Sent it cleanly on TR, but still had to put some work in at the top.

Aug 9, 2021 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Swung leads with Jo, Rachael followed. Start is a little heady but not bad for 5.9. Crux roof is definitely easier with height and reach to the jug to the left. Struggled a bit with the 5.8 fingers, stepped on the rope when I went to clip, just didn’t climb it well. Climbed with Jo’s rack, wished for nuts, many small gear options. Rack to 4 would seem right.
