Fashionably Late
Oct 17, 2021 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Note to self: as amazing as this route is, it is not an easy cool-down (after pumping through remova la ropa and balance of power). w/Jady on a oerfect fall day. Amazing holds

Oct 16, 2021 · Lead / Redpoint. Warmup 2x w/Jady on a perfect fall day. I wonder if it is possible/safe to link from JF’s top bolt through the jug shelves and directly into the final sequence protecting the chains…

Remove la Ropa
Oct 16, 2021 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Tried this after 2x burns on balance of power (and after putting up draws for Jady). Missed the crux R hand, but held onto that move and 2-3 more before pumping off the middle above crux. Re-sending this one is a must for ego now… but only after BoP. Jady lost and then regained beat on boulder start. Looks ready to send.

Balance of Power
Oct 16, 2021 · Lead / Fell/Hung. The crux moves felt more grippy and doable this time on a first burn (perfect, dry/cool fall day). Ran from crux to chains 2x. Still can’t get the body english right on the middle crux (big move up right to weird jug)… getting there with plenty of steam then falling d/t poor hand angle/position…

Aug 20, 2021 · 1 pitch. Lead / Fell/Hung. Bailed after pitch 1. Many excuses: (biting gnats in eyes/throat, TCpros left in Iowa; Solutions + sun/heat = numb feet…); before starting this, Jady & I started up the wrong left-facing flake (100’ to the left) when it wasn’t so hot, but I had to down-climb some blank friction slab to get back down. Maybe we’ll give this one another shot someday. Bishop’s Terrace saved the day that afternoon.

Bishops Terrace
Aug 20, 2021 · Follow. Jady put this thing up in one pitch. Fun, lovely climbing. Only a crack move here and there; lots of jugs and compression etc. thrown in for laughs. Great route. Super-impressive lead by Jady Jadylin.
