First started climbing in 1999 with Randy Carmichael (my now late husband). Mainly climbed with Randy as a way to be outside and spend time together (since one of his passions was climbing). We married in 2003 along the creek at Eldorado Canyon State Park, and climbed Calypso to the top of Wind Tower the day after we got married, and went on a honeymoon/rock climbing trip to France. Haven't done much climbing for 3 years (since Randy was diagnosed with cancer), but am still interested in exploring climbing without my husband and main climbing partner. Randy passed away, 9/26/2013, and I am at a bit of a loss. I have some of his/our gear for sale, as my intention is for Randy's Spirit to go on many other adventures with his gear. I consider myself still a beginner climber, and am into "safe climbing". Not sure how I rate myself on skill level, but followed Randy's climbs and have probalby done a top rope 5.9+.
