Extra Action
Nov 9, 2024 · Lead / Onsight. A decent bit of chicken-winging on the off-width. Gear: doubles #0.5 to #4, plus a #5. Felt more like 5.8. It's a bit dirty, feels like it's less-often climbed. At least there were nice chains & lower-off carabiners at the top.

Nov 9, 2024 · Lead / Onsight. The crack is all fun and 5.7ish with reaches to great hand jams, until that last off-width V at the top, which felt more like insecure 5.8. Definitely bring a #4 for the middle of the route, and I rather wish I had brought a #5 for the off-width V up top. Technically I led it clean, but with a lot of pausing and insecure desparation at the crux. Also, no anchor or bolts anywhere up there. Good cracks for a gear-anchor up there though, and option to walk-off climber's left-side.

Iced Lemon Loaf
Nov 7, 2024 · TR. Difficult but fun!! Felt near my limit on top-rope. Dustin stick-clipped the second bolt then led it. I top-roped, with quite a few takes and desperate moves even despite TR'ing. No one else was around, so we carefully positioned the belayer to the side and tossed down a few pounds of weapons-grade choss. It's still a young route and there still are parts that are going to come off, but with at least a little thought about not standing in the fall-line, you'll be fine. I'd like to TR it again sometime in the future, I'd like to work on improving at the moves, and it is cool route!
