Feb 9, 2025 · Lead. With Amy Ransom. 2025 AMC Boston Ice Program. Went up the chimney and discovered nine people waiting to finish the upper section. Traversed to the right-side rap station, lowered, had a snack, and then re-climbed the chimney and ultimately the slab. Great feet and tool placements, plenty of ice to work with. A pleasure of a climb.

Made the mistake of thinking traversing left at the top would lead us to the upper tier and we could finish with the Cleft. Instead we ended up at the top of the Cleft and were finished all the same. Oh well, we had a good adventure, anyway :)

Had to v-thread and rap back down to clean screws and jury-rig his boot. Exited climbers right which I thought would suck but wasn't bad at all.
