Climber since 1986, initially a trad man throughout, established a fair bit of ground up FA's, some assessable today but quite a few were established in now closed off areas. Later established sport climbs at Cedar Bluffs, and one of the original cast at Jackson Falls. Established ice routes as well including "Ceramic Kangaroo" at Ferne Clyffe State Park. Founding president of Southern Illinois Climbers Alliance in 1991.
