Okay, so I'll be honest. I'm a TR lover. Love me some TR. Lead? I've done it before and I must say, my comfort level is TR 100%, unless we're talking an easy lead route 5.9 or under. No kamakazi stuff for me ever since my son was born.

BUT, get me on a thrill hike, a kickass risky boulder approach, and any type of TR climb that ensures a good frickin' time... then I'm more than willing to offer some blood, sweat, and tears.

I'm not ashamed of my TR love. In my book, I can enjoy a tough climb much more by trying to beta a hard run with the comfort of a well placed and secure anchor collection uptop. To me, it's like a damn chess game. Nothing better than sharing a long, tough TR climb... helping a buddy and getting help from a buddy while climbing and belaying. It's relaxation for the soul.
