Mar 16, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Pitch 3 was all red biting ants all the time once I did the 5.7 mantel. Ended up pulling on cams to get by them as fast as possible but they were all the way through the "chimney" and also all over lunch ledge. Wind chill was picking up and fat man chimney was not looking pleasant and the ants took it out of me so dow we went. Both the topo here and Sloan's topos have some issues but def the topo on this page is far superior With Yi 5.9 corner in P2 was short but fun but the rest up to lunch ledge felt more like alpine peak bagging than a proper route. Bring new webbing for rap stations next time

P5 stand out pitch with variety and safe protection, no liebacking was done though

Good line with no spots to get rope caught but lots of swinging for leader to reach anchor and bring the second over to it. Def not one to send the noob down first or to do in the dark since the 3rd set of rap anchors are not obvious.

Climbed the first half of the final wide section three times though: once before coming down to bring up partner so we'd be able to hear each other, second time back down to sort of rope issue, third time up.
