Royal Flush
Oct 2, 2024 · Solo. Lead rope solo so I did every pitch twice. 3000 feet of climbing! Accidentally did the 10 variation on the head wall so that made for a spicy solo lead! I brought a yellow and orange Metolius cam and they came in useful on several pitches. Had to do one of the headwall pitches three times due to a stuck rope . The slab climbing was particularly intimidating in spots, but just had to press through so I could get off. did 3 pitches at a time, 2 where it made sense I bushwhacked south to the trail, which was a bad idea. my car broke down on the way home to top it off and aaa botched the tow so got home at 5:15 am. 9 hours climbing, 1h bushwhacking, 1h hiking off, 6 h waiting for tow, 2h to home. Was the only 1 on the route. Saw 1 person on the path on the way in, 1 runner on the hike out.

Sep 13, 2024 · Solo. Lead rope solo. Good gear, fun crux, thin but good placements just above the bolt. I also lead rope soloed the sport route to the left of this that is not on MP, which is pretty easy (7-8) except for a few slab moves midway through that felt 9-10 ish.

Sep 4, 2024 · 3 pitches. Solo. lead rope solo. Got to top of p3, to find it did not top out, placed 2 cams right (.5 & #3) to traverse into top of 3rd pitch on chase the sky. Rapped back to clean and topped out on fun moves that should be p4 then walked off and rapped catheters aura

Sep 2, 2024 · Lead / Redpoint. Lead rope solo and hike off climbers right down steep valley, maybe 1 rap off Cathartes aura would be easier.

Sep 1, 2024 · Lead / Redpoint. First lead solo followed by top rope solo to retrieve the rope. Have a lot of kinks to work out! Anchored off tree, but will bring cams next time. Used cache loops on girthed sling.
