Mike Sofranko fell to his death on February 3, 2002 while climbing at Happy Hour Crag in Boulder Canyon, CO. An avid climber, Sofranko was employed as an electrical engineer with Hewlett Packard in Fort Collins, Colo., for three years and had previously worked for IBM in Burlington, Vt. Mike was 28 years old. -ed.
