Note: The approach off the middle fork trail is rough and steep. There is a tall, log-walking section, steep, semi-loose talus, and sections of steep dirt. Although this is fine for the average climber, this area is not ideal for kids, dogs, or large parties. Care should be taken, particularly on the descent through the talus, as many of the blocks are not completely secure.
These routes are located at the eastern end of Stegosaurus Butte. Take the middle fork trail up river (east) to the base of the very obvious slab area known as the Fee Demo Wall. Walk the trail another few minutes crossing a couple small drainage bridges. Look for a faint path on the right that climbs into the forest steeply for 15 feet. You'll know you are on the right path when you see a large log in the way with a split log ramp to get you on it. Walk the log left which soon crosses over some wet ground and continues up past a house-sized boulder. Keep ascending the trail through an enchanted moss boulder field and a small talus field below a large, steep, wide, Gully. The wall is the first slab you walk under to the climbers left of the gully.
