Suggested Page Improvements to The Subway

Always shady. A big fat limestone roof close enough to the ground to boulder. Even in the hottest part of the summer, the shade keeps this one cool. Fun and Powerful!

Park at the big antennae on the right side of the road, 5-10 minutes after driving past Robber's Roost. The big antenna has a decent sized pull out to park some cars. After that, go behind the antennae and follow a trail going Northeast (slightly right), then North (slightly left) before dropping into a wash. Go right and follow the wash Northeast until, just after it narrows, it opens up a bit, and there is a dirt trail that goes immediately left (about 100 feet before this obvious trail, there is a faint social trail on the left that does not lead anywhere, so don't be fooled by it). Hike up and slightly right towards a small ridge with some cacti, and then take a hard left through some trees to a steep downhill trail with a couple switchbacks. The Main Cave of The Subway will be to your right when the trail levels out at its low point.
