Getting There Suggestion

Head north on the 158 from the 157, parking at the small turnout on the left that's about 200 yards before the large Robbers Roost parking area. (The parking area is the end of an old dirt road).

From the parking, follow the wash up for about 50 yards to a cairned trail on the left before the end of the dirt road. Follow the trail uphill for 10 minutes until you reach the Bandit Cave, a small cave with some routes on the steepest section. At the base of the cliff, stay left on a trail that heads uphill. Continue on this steep, but well-made trail until you reach a section with a hand-line on your right. Take the hand-line to its anchors, then continue up the steep switchbacks. The trail is just under a half-mile but gains ~750 feet of elevation from the parking. 25-30 minutes.
