A note should be added under the "Getting there" section:

From the Moose Creek trailhead, the hike is around 4 miles. It is a generally leisurely hike, with very little elevation gain.

Greg- Here is more of a description of the trail to the Wedge

At the Moose Creek Trailhead go pass the outhouse and cross the creek on a small bridge. The trail follows the creek (and meadows) for a mile and a half until it crosses back over the creek. Continue to follow the main creek for a short (10-15 minutes). At this point there is a sharp right turn uphill to get into another drainage leading up to a meadow (you can see now see the Wedge). At the far end of the meadow are the remains of a cabin (a spring comes out of a pipe behind the cabin - I myself haven't had any trouble with that water). Continue on behind the cabin. These days the trail is well worn.
