Comments: What do you mean "ONE of the classics..."?

Everything @ Dogwood is MEGA CLASSIC.

Except maybe Crosseyed and Painless.

Comments: Glad your'e OK.

As a reminder, the main Hellgate cliff in general should be avoided after storms and in the spring. Mid summer and dry Falls are considered safest.

Comments: Great stuff. Looking forward to taking my kids up there.

Thanks for all the work on the route. It was clear there was a fair amount of cleaning done. Very well engineered and the PI was a non-issue...unless you drop your helmet and it rolls down into it. he he

Comments: I had no issues on it except for kicking down some pebbles when I led the 4th pitch. The belays seemed sheltered ass swell.

And as reference, I did the route years ago that got removed and I remember constantly dodging baseballs from above.

Comments: "Be warned: there's a huge, loose block... stay alert & be sure your belayer's got a helmet on!"

Think a helmet will do all that much to save you from a HUGE, LOOSE BLOCK?

Ha.

Comments: It's refreshing to see newbies complain of bolts instead of wanting them everywhere.

Thank you!

Next time, look more closely at the book/MP and you'll find plenty of gear routes up there.

Comments: Harder than Becky's?! Nah.

It's really not bad although one certainly has to be careful.

Remember folks, climbing is dangerous. And skeery.

Although I have to admit, I don't miss the "slippery layback" approach that used to be in the area. That was far worse than this.
