Comments: I just did it the other day with the small hold on the overhanging face, and it doesn't feel too much harder. The crux is still higher on the arete.

Comments: That hold is destined to come off... but the new problems that are then created look like they will be fun too!

Comments: There are two distinct finishes to this climb. The right goes straight up the nose of the prow and felt a little more natural to me (probably V3). The left finish climbs just to the left of the prow as described in the description above and felt a little harder to me (maybe V4). Do them both.... They are fun!

Comments: Can a moderator please update the description for this climb to include the addition of the low anchor that was added to this climb in 2009. Also, can't we delete a bunch of these comments dating back to 2001 talking about issues that have been solved (i.e. needing a second rope and the death block that was removed)?

Comments: Does anybody else think that this area should be separated into sectors so as to better understand where these problems are? It is a constant challenge to find information about problems based off of their name/grade alone and not the specific location. Any help would be awesome.

Comments: I haven't walked the actual trail yet. It is supposed to be from the large parking area and leads to the top of the West side cliffs. Not very much longer than walking the road. I will try to get more information this weekend.

Comments: The Transfer Park management made it clear that they do not want climbers walking through the campsites to access the West Side Walls. The management staff has already encountered hostility from climbers which creates a very poor image of the local climbing community. Please use the trail from the major parking area. If anyone wants better access, please contact the San Juan National Forest to submit requests.

Comments: You can definitely place a red Camalot in the upper crack that is referred to as run-out. It is very easy ground.

Comments: There are a couple variations on this problem. Straight up the obvious center (low start makes for a complete problem), the arete to the right, and traverse in from the left. Is Skully the center problem?
