Comments: There are only 4 bolts and there's significant fall potential between the 2nd and 3rd bolt. Fortunately the climbing is juggy at that point, but as has been said, this is not a good lead for a beginning .10 climber.

Comments: First three clips are quite a bit harder than anything on Johnny's Route to the left of this route.

Comments: The opening moves up to about the 3rd bolt feel harder than .10a.

Comments: Currently the anchor requires you to thread two pieces of chain that are ~3 feet apart in order to rap or lower out. Only one of the two bolt hangers on the right (inline with the route) has chain-- the other hanger is bare. This doesn't conform to any reasonable logic and it complicates cleaning and rapping/lowering -- contrary to the stated aim of helping-- not to mention it puts a lot of stress on one's rope and the bolts.

Comments: Climbing the roof line and pulling the roof are worth doing. The climbing after the bolt becomes much less worthwhile, dirty, and quite slabby with minimal protection up high. There's no bolt anchor for this route, so either belay your follower off a tree at the top, or traverse right to the anchor at the top of the adjacent Grizzly Rose route. The descent gully to the left is loose and not that fun.

Comments: The griping about this route is overstated. It's not 5.8+, but it's no more than .10a, and it's a fine .10a at that. One or two long slings at the top of the route could be beneficial for helping to manage rope drag.

Comments: There are two .11 moves on the climb: getting past the first bolt and moving across the gap on the upper portion of the route. On lead, the move across the gap may be incredibly difficult for short folks....

Comments: It's rather debatable whether the opening moves of this route are anywhere close to .10c for folks under 6 feet tall - getting past the first two bolts felt much harder than Strong Arm Tactics .11a to the right. If you fall before making the second clip, there's very real decking potential.

Comments: Dirty, meandering, and somewhat fussy. If your leader doesn't weigh much, they may hardly reach the ground with a 70m rope. Highly recommend cleaning this while being lowered out or following on TR and not on rappel. Also highly recommend skipping this route for any number of better routes.

Comments: Note that there's an extremely loose plate of rock wedged in the crack to the right of the 4th bolt.

Comments: As of late September 2015, the first bolt is somewhat bent and very loose-- likely should be replaced.

Comments: As of early October 2015, the ancient cold-shut anchors are in need of replacement: the right one is loose and the left one is more than halfway worn through from rope wear.
