Comments: A much safer set up would be to have the baskets of the carbiners down and the crotches up with the gate on far right carabiner facing out to the right. The load will be on the spines of the carabiners. The three slings should be tied with a figure eight. Twist and squeeze the gates to make sure they are truly locked. The SIERRA NEVADA is Spanish for snowy range.
John Muir named the SIERRA the "Range of Light".
