Aug 28, 2023 · 8 pitches. Lead / Onsight. Perhaps the best Alpine route in existence! I lead odds, Kyle had evens. The P3 crux seemed considerably easier than the P6 crux but the pro was pretty good on both. The rest of the route seemed pretty cruiser. We would probably let split up P8 next time because it’s too long for the amount of gear. About 7 hrs ground to ground with about an hour slowdown to pass a party. 1:30 for the raps with an 80 meter. Rack: -Offset nuts -10 draws -Singles: 0.1, 0.2, #3 -Doubles: 0.75-#2 -Triples: 0.3-0.5

Jul 22, 2023 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Really good route. Every pitch is good climbing and good quality rock. The gear is mostly good and never dangerously sparse but there are a few heady sections. I ran out of gas quickly. I fell at the .11 crux on P3 but it seemed doable if I did t have the bag. I also took a whipper on P4 which seemed almost as hard as P3. I also fell on P4 (for no reason). The .9 pitches on top are also harder than listed. Notably, P8 has some hard and awkward moves. Most of the pitches felt a couple ticks harder than listed. Single: 0.1, offset nuts Double: 0.2 -#3 10 draws 60m rope A small bag to haul would be nice since the climbing is mostly pretty hard and the rock is clean and steep.
