Comments: AT 5'8", there are a couple spots on this climb where the moves felt insecure due to how long they were. Its a bit thin between the first and second bolt. It took me a bunch of tries to get between the 5th bolt and the anchors. Followed the pockets more or less straight up and then super reached to slopers straight overhead to get over the hump.

Comments: Not to be an ass, but the YDS is supposed to rate by the hardest move on a route. This route is 8-/8 on that scale. That said it, it is a one trick pony, although the start is also solid 7. I managed to use high feet and the left pocket to hit the horn with my right at the crux. My second claims you can extend your right hand to a jug near the proper of Denver Nugget to power through the crux. Fun moves though.

Comments: For folks that climb in BC, I found this climb to be more difficult thans Grins at the crux. I had to use the left face to step past the bulge, so this might just be my lack of face climbing skill. There is 25 feet of 5.5 runout after the crack ends.

Comments: Good feet on the left but a bit smeary on the right. Save a #1 or #2 piece for the top.

Comments: Felt as hard as Tonto. The corner is off-width/big fist so feels hard for the inexperienced cracker.

Comments: Hiking up from Long Lake, it seems there might be a direct route up the southern edge of the east face of Shoshoni. The route follows a gully system slanting left. It appears to be mostly 4th class although the near the top almost definitely 5th. Anyone have any experience on climbing the east face?
