Comments: Left crack is very good. First 30' to roof is pretty stupid. You may be able to get a blue ball nut or two before the piton that moves when weighted. A #5 and #4 gets you passed the roof. It's a lot of 2's until the top. Another 5 might be good. Really surprising how great the route is.

Comments: Can y'all motherfuckers please stop scratching the date, your initials, or other trashy miscellanea into the route? Looks like someone guided the bottom rung of the jeep safari up this thing.

Comments: So maybe I'm kinda fragile, but the rap anchor is pretty bogus. We downclimbed the route about 30 feet and made a two stopper anchor to rappel from. Climb goes at 5.9ish and is really good!

Comments: Three feet off the ground? Shit we were drinking beer and smoking weed above I can't remember what pitch. Times are good on the Priest. Simon's the man. Nice Knockers.

Comments: Those piton holes on the last pitch are pretty retarded. I'd hesitate to call them usable.

Comments: Bring four cams. A 0.5 for the crack 15 feet off the ground. You'll use a 2 and 3 for the "chimney" and a 1 to back up the anchor on p1. You'll reuse the 3 for your only piece just below the summit. I wouldn't consider taking more than this in the future.

Comments: Double set to four. No anchor on top of first pitch but easy to make with a c4 #3 and #4. Fixed hex is still there high up. New piece of rope added to anchor on 4/13.

Comments: One seventy gets you down in two raps, may work with a sixty with a bit of easy dc'ing. No need to bring a six, but double up on BD fours.

Comments: We broke the climb into three pitches. Up shitty stones at base (the hardest climbing of the route) and into the back of the chimney. This got the belayer out of the sun and into the shade. Then another longish pitch up the fantastic chimney to the base of the bolt ladder. One more to the top. I took a single set to #4 and a set of stoppers and thought this was perfect. For the top pitch take a .75 and or 1 for just a few feet off the ground and a set of small stoppers. Leave everyt... more >>

Comments: Great fun. Didn't realize it was such a chimney climb. Only placed about 10 protection pieces in the four pitches but easy. If you go now, take an avalanche probe with an ibis hook duct taped to the end and get a nice looking Metolious cam someone dropped in a deep tunnel on the second or third pitch. Worth climbing just to get the free gear.

Comments: Super fun. There is a fairly new BDC4 sized .4 fixed somewhere on the first pitch that my partner couldn't get out. Maybe you can. Good booty. Good luck.
