Comments: The instructions to the first belay are wrong in the description. After pulling the initial overhang, you want to look right and head towards a line of weakness leading to the troth. Heading left puts you on fandango. The large tree is the second belay for Gandango, NOT Baker's Way.

Comments: It would be great if you could make the comments that voters make optionally public. I would like to see why folks say "no" to a proposal, especially.

Comments: I first climbed this route in the Summer of 2009, shortly after the bolted lines were put in. I'm not sure if it was a first ascent, but the other folks who frequented this in 2008 weren't hauling in their trad gear.

Comments: The description says "Angle right to a notch." I think this is confusing. From the rap anchors, you can either step LEFT along the GT and then head up directly under the notch, which is pretty well protected, or you can hop over your belayer's head and angle LEFT up to the notch, I don't think this is as well protected, but others may comment otherwise.

When the going get's thin, there is 1 relatively new pin and 2 3/8ths bomber stainless bolts that protect through the crux. I'd say the crux... more >>

Comments: SAFETY WARNING:

Be very careful top roping this climb. The rope leading down to the follower naturally falls over a sharp edge. If the follower falls at the end of the hang, the rope can slide against that sharp edge. This is true lowering the climber as well, and in fact our rope suffered a core shot because of this.

If a bolt was added over the side of the overhang, this problem would be mitigated. Consider this a request to the first ascentionist to add that bolt. I would only add the ... more >>

Comments: I feel like this route could use 1 more bolt before the anchors. If you blow the last few moves (which are quite a bit easier), you risk hitting the ledge below, or worse, getting a Christmas tree enema. Look out!
