Comments: If using the #1 cam, make sure you extend the placement! ...or else deal with pretty bad rope drag.

The cam definitely isn't necessary, but I recommend bringing it for peace of mind if you're going for an onsight at or near your limit. The area leading up to the placement is pumpy, and the next bolt, while close, can't be seen until you're on top of it.

Great route. Harder than it looks.

Comments: Really fun climb with great flow and an awesome power throw to finish off the crux. It's definitely one of the most fun single moves I've done on a rope.

Comments: I haven't climbed P3, but P2 leading up to Kashmir is NO JOKE. The strenuous, insecure, and not-so-obvious crux sequence makes you think twice about your 5.12 redpoint attempt (for me anyway). Definitely well protected though.

Comments: I left my shoes here at the beginning of the traverse. If anyone can pick them up, I would happily buy you a 6-pack for your troubles. They are blue Rafter sandals.

Comments: I found a camera at the base of the first pitch a couple weeks ago. PM if its yours.

On a different note, the climb is amazing. It's probably the best climb in the universe for the 5.10 sport leader who is getting into trad. Enjoy!

Comments: Probably would have given it more stars if the climb wasn't cut short by the rangers to get ticketed. Make sure you park in the parking lots (not on the road) and approach the climb by going AROUND the ranch.
