Comments: Tbol, Swedish is the next boulder to the south, and Griddle is the next boulder to the north.

Comments: tbol - Not sure if you're talking about the same thing, but a few months ago I cleaned up and tried a line on that face just left of a juniper tree. Seemed like it was V3ish, but I didn't commit to the mantel finish. If you sent, throw up a description and give it a name. I agree, it's a nice one.

Comments: Had a blast figuring this one out. Can't think of another problem in the canyon that requires a jump-traverse.

Comments: Managed to complete the sit start to the problem, today. Adds several moves and a lot of fun. Bumped the grade up a few notches.

Comments: Added a sit start to the problem, today. Quality didn't seem to improve, but it adds some movement and some difficulty. Bumped the grade up a notch.

Comments: The large foot platform has broken off. Started the problem from down lower. Feel like it added a good deal of quality to the problem, however.

Comments: Added what I know from Airbiscuit's comments and ascents I've witnessed. I've tried each of these problems but haven't sent, hence the generic grade. I will update information if someone chimes in.

Comments: I've climbed several problems on this boulder only to reach the lip and bail out, because I'm too chicken-shit to face the downclimb. With that said, I don't have any business posting the routes, but it's my hope that someone that has climbed them or will climb them, will add them. Matt Lisenby mentioned climbing several of these to me a while back. Maybe you can add them, Matt? Regardless, this boulder is a gem and ... more >>

Comments: Saw Lisenby climb this one several years ago with one of the coolest toe-hook-drop-knee thingies I've seen. Wasn't able to recreate the exact move myself but found an alternate way. Regardless of the method, I believe the sequence of movement to the lip is some of the finest in the canyon.

Comments: Repeated the problem, today. Old method post-break is much harder. Found an alternate method which is likely easier than the original. Adjusted the grade to reflect my experience.

Comments: Broke the start flake off, today. Still managed to complete the problem (not the direct finish though) using a right hand sidepull at the start. Feel like the direct ascent was considerably harder than the grade before the break, and I'm fairly certain it's only harder now. Fantastic problem!

Comments: Added a sit start to the problem today. Doesn't add much regarding movement, but it completes the line. Adjusted the grade to match my experience.

Comments: Figured out the sit start, today. Despite the sandy start feet, I think this problem is great. The holds and movement are very unique to the canyon. Bumped the grade and rating to match the addition.

Comments: Climbed a variation of the problem today. Started with a pair of underclings before moving to the sloping shelf. Thought it added some difficulty along with some awkwardness. Nonetheless, it's a good problem.

Comments: Climbed it from a lower start today. From the sit, it forces a dyno from the sloping jugs, and makes the static method (stand start) using the left hand sidepull-edge and right hand sidepull jug much harder or nearly impossible. With that said, felt like the stand and sit start are very different problems. Good time either way though.

Comments: Perhaps. There is a thin seam that connects perpendicularly into the start from the west. Not sure on the quality of rock or if the movement is possible though. I felt certain it was beyond my ability, so I didn't look at it too closely.

Comments: Found the important undercling had busted off since climbing the problem. Worked out a completely new sequence that adds a sit start. Found the quality to be better than ever, and it adds some difficulty.

Comments: Managed to finally solve the sit start to the problem today. An almost night and day difference in difficulty from the stand. Adjusted the grade to reflect the addition.
