Ticks are selective without a consistent pattern except for their length. Age is fake. Some trip reports are on my website. I lead conservatively and am risk averse. I'm an infrequent weekend warrior and my climbing ability and desire to travel go up and down depending on psych and focus, but I'm on the lookout for good climbing partners who have good endurance, positive attitude, and provide attentive belays. If you climb strong, that's icing on the cake. Feel free to PM me.

Inti Watana
Dec 28, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. Swung with CEH, I led/linked 1+2, 5+6, 8, 11+12. Dressed very warm expecting it to be cold (wall does not get any sun this time of the year), so I ended up quite comfortable. We did the main gully rappel de-proach and I was quite happy that we went that way. One 80m rope is perfect. Oh, and I agree with some comments that the climb feels soft for the grade.

The Fox
Dec 27, 2023 · Lead / Flash. A beautiful line that covers all sizes. Worth the visit. CEH sent it first, and cleaned the gear on his way down (80m rope). We faced the opposite sides at the wide section.

Eagle Dance
Dec 25, 2023 · 9 pitches. Lead / Onsight. Perfect winter climb! Had this route to ourselves. Swung with CEH. I led/linked 4+5 (clipping every 2nd or 3rd bolt), and 8+9. The bolt ladder pitch/C0 aiding was a novelty for both of us. Kinda blue-collar work there. I really enjoyed pitches 8&9. Rock feels solid to me. Actually I enjoyed the route as much as I did its next door neighbor, Levitation 29 (ticked in '17 all lead onsight -- my spray).

Contagion
Dec 24, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. Solid limestone route in full on sun exposure -- a great winter route choice, esp. after heavy rain two days prior. Swung with CEH, led p2 10b variation. Finished off the day with cragging at Gun Club.

Snake Bite
Dec 9, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. Was bitten by a snake! My finger probably looked that way to my partner when I came down. It lost some skin when I had foot slips but it hung on. I stayed true to the sharp center crack, and I could see how using the nearby crack would make it quite a bit easier. I placed a piece behind the flake just to the right (below) of the roof to keep the rope from being sucked into the center crack. It worked very well.

Dec 3, 2023 · Lead. Led it many years ago, so this is a repeat. What a straight (forward) crack! I then did a TR lap annotating moves (on video) for partner.
