Comments: per my Oct 4, 2015 comment: thinking back real hard now, I recall it being mossy, ferny, not that hard, positive hidden holes, kind of vertical at the start, didn't wander much, then a wild juggy topout...me and whoever belayed me, came down the back side... fairly sure it was a lot of fun moves...
it sounds like H.R. is the rock we were on... ?

Comments: VALALPIN'S VIA FERRATA
This 5.0 traverse [bolts, pins, hexes] has not yet turned the prow onto north side, where even more remarkable crack climbs to the bushes above can be found...

Comments: One sweet morning full of a misty rain and almost blind amongst the flowers, I lovingly got upon her island crest, & rapped her in a few places - it was fun figuring out where the moves were receptive to my fingers and boots; I found one winding line I especially liked, and the next day rapped and cleaned it, even taped bolt locations, & was ready to drill, yes, on that sunny 3rd day, when Tsé Bitʼaʼí mysteriously called me away....

Comments: Yeah, you all think that "steep dropoff to the ocean" deserves a rap anchor to make it easier to get to work on those routes gracing the north wall? Aren't there some good lines there? Pretty lines for the picking, if my memory serves me correctly... post-rapping, starting down low there, on the other side of the arête, might be the way to enjoy the edge of the rock to the top?

Comments: Climbers of the area have an opportunity to weigh in on what they'd like to see developed at a multi-event center within an 800-acre grassy area to be developed as Durango Mesa Park.

This means Durango has a chance to bring climbing competitions of every level and category to our beloved abode, (THINK about this: on August 3, 2016, the IOC voted to add sport climbing and skateboarding for the 2020 Summer Olympics),
And a permanent public and free venue for... more >>

Comments: Cool you got on this thing...
about UNDERTOE... or a variation via ferrata, well, it needs attention to enable the work on the many virgin, hard, vertical lines which girdle this perfect piece of stone.
