Comments: This is an interesting boulder problem and a tough one to grade. For me it felt v2ish but I am tall, it will feel grades hard for short people. Hence the v3 rating, I am trying to remain height neutral.

If you adventure out here, few will, please climb it and chime in on the grade.

Comments: I am not sure where you started this Eli, I started on a good crimp with the right and a crystal with the left, then moved up into the jugs. Is that where you started? Photo coming soon.

Comments: I climbed a short extension to this problem today, it starts more left on the nose of the boulder, then moves right, into the start holds of the original line.

Comments: This feels more like soft v1 if you start with the obvious starting holds. Using a large left know for your left and your right on the arete with a good side-pull, starting with the real small crimps under the roof makes it harder but very contrived.

Comments: The good feet and good beta will make this seem easier than v4. In my opinion it is v2-v3.

Comments: This line does not look very appealing, however, it climbs surprisingly well. Cant wait to do the full link link, starting on Mayonnaise.

Comments: If both v3s are v4-v5 why would they be rated v3?

Comments: Thanks guys, I live up north but my dad lives in Goffstown, so i am always looking for a close spot to his house. Jake if I head it out there I would be stoked for a tour.

Comments: Climbed this line again today, it is really hard to come to Blackjack and not take a lap on this classic! One of the best boulder problems anywhere.

Comments: This line climbs really well, it is a bit of an eliminate as any part of "The Blot' corner is off limits. However, when you climb it, it climbs naturally. I find myself repeating this climb on most trips to The Pound.

Comments: This line is not the most visual striking line, but it climbs really well, it should see more ascents.

I am torn on the grade for this, so please climb it and chime in on what you think. I thought it was going to be in the v6-7 range but with new beta it went easier. Just not sure how much easier. So help me get an idea of the grade!

Comments: I know this has been climbed, the line described in Bryce's guide climbs into 'Hueco Problem". This could be a new variation with an earlier exit. Thanks for adding it, I am looking forward to trying it!

Comments: No problem Jake! It could us e a little more detailed cleaning at the start but its worth climbing for sure! I will hopefully get to cleaning it better soon and I will try to clean the tops of Gums and Sand Wedge if I get to it!

Eddy, this is what the line is called in Bryce's guide.

Comments: This is a pretty cool climb. It was covered in moss this morning so I gave it a quick cleaning. Not classic by any means but a worthy line to keep clean.

Comments: I have often looked up at this and thought it could hold a couple interesting routes. However, I was always wary of the proximity to the road, the risk of erosion and how the locals would feel about it. Just something to keep in mind before climbing here. I would hate to see some rock dislodged and hit a car that happens to be driving by, that would not help the relationship with the locals.

Comments: Did you guys try the v8 at all? I am curious what the start position is? Can you use 'A Boy and His Dog' for feet?

Comments: I climbed this route yesterday, I started in a similar position to the blue line in your photo, except that my left hand was on the right hand you have labeled and my right was on the big sloper. This way felt v3+ish to me, a cool climb for sure.

A couple thoughts on the climb, The top could use a bit more scrubbing to promote quick drying holds. Also this start holds are not the most obvious which detracts a little from the line. However it does climb well and I look forward to going back and... more >>
