More information:
I'm looking for climbing partners in both the Auburn/Placerville area and also Joshua Tree. And Pipeworks gym in Sacramento!

I'm 64, female, and have been climbing just about a year. I can climb a 5.10 indoors, I do not know the rating of the outdoor Joshua Tree climbs I've done. A week ago I was learning some crack techniques on a climb in Hidden Valley, and working on a steep slab in Echo Valley. I have not led yet.

I'll climb with anyone who loves to climb! But what I also hope is to also find some people at or about the same skill level I am, so we can learn together. I'm at the climbing gym 3 times a week. I get outdoors whenever I can take the time and have a partner. On my 'to do' list are a few anchors classes, lead climbing, and wilderness rescue.

On my next trip to Joshua Tree there's some climbs I'd like to try... Old Woman face, Intersection Rock, and a difficult climb in Hidden Valley with a ceiling layback. (we'll see on that last one.)
