Comments: Yes, very much like a gym climb, but good stuff anyway.

Comments: Very nice route, with a good amount of climbing on it. The bolts are a little spacy, but not too bad.

Comments: In the shade at high noon at Christmas. We found the approach fairly straightforward -- headed west on the gravel road out of Kraft until it ended, then down to the right on a trail that eventually went into the wash, up the wash PAST the gully to the left of the wall, then headed up a hill to the slabs and the crag.

The rock seemed ... no crispier than any other new-ish crag. Thanks for all the work, Mr. Kimm! We were able to lower a climber from the top of Soul to Bear to the... more >>

Comments: Fun moves down below. The rock is still a bit crispy, especially at the roof. The chains are getting a bit rusty.

Comments: Definitely a bit heads-up for 5.9 to and around the first bolt, but still reasonably safe. Rock felt secure (enough) as of 2017.

Comments: I followed this route early on in my climbing career, and felt foolish for how long I stood there before executing the move.

I followed this move last weekend, some 20 years later, and still felt foolish for how long I still stood there before executing the move.

Lots of good climbing on the first pitch, though.

Comments: Much cleaner now, and a high-quality route, I thought. Lots of good moves.

Comments: This is one or two decent moves, with mediocre pro at best, sandwiched by 40' of licheny 5.0 slab.

It seemed obvious to me that the one or two decent moves are finished by grabbing the tree, since there were no other holds and the tree is rather in the way, but neither the guide nor this entry mention using the tree. YMMV.
