Comments: Aghetie is correct about needing to protect the crux (thin flaring tips crack before the square ceiling) from below. Unless you had small offset cams/nuts nothing will seat in the crack leaving you to commit to a fall if you blow the moves to gain the top of the right facing corner. I convinced myself a #4 BD nut was good enough and wound up taking a 20 footer onto the ledge bruising my calcaneus pretty badly. Definitely going to track down a #3 offset mastercam once I heal up. Comments: I agree with the above comments. Although there is one SMC hanger at the first two belays the other is a larger Petzl (although far from a new addition it provides some greater peace of mind). Comments: It's really pretty mellow till the last 5 feet before it goes to a lower angle. Worth the time.

Comments: In the new ADK guide by Hass this has been bumped up to a 9 (although I consider myself an 8 climber so I think it must be an 8 because I was able to haul myself up. It's a great climb and a lot of fun allowing for practice of stemming or lieback if you're so inclined.
