Comments: All guidebooks rate this a 10a. It is a hard 10a and is not a giveaway. There is a lot of looking around for feet.

Comments: Good climb, it's all there. One move with some power required after clipping the bolt on the bulge, smear with a high foot, pull off the right hand feature straight up and grab something good up a little higher.

Comments: You might want to use a longer quickdraw when clipping the bolt that protects the roof section. Jay Knower, it seems like the line does go up the slab, I was left of the bolts most of the way up to the roof section where it gets spicy.

Comments: This is an excellent problem. Some pull, some balancy moves, high smear, committing top out. It's got it all!

Comments: There is a nice composting toilet in the boulder field now that was built by SCC volunteers using a grant from the Access Fund.

Comments: Hospital Boulders is a very cool boulder field that includes some tall formations. Low traffic makes this a great spot to get away from the crowds and loud groups. There looks to be plenty of problems to put up still, you will be able to see where some folks have climbed or cleaned and you will see a lot of moss and dirt on the rock as well. We went without knowing anything in the place and got a complete day of bouldering in. There are a variety of types of problems, which also range in diffi... more >>

Comments: I don't see this problem being rated above a V3, including the sit start on flake. Super fun!
