I appreciated hearing the story in the caption. Nice photo too.

Comments: A TR ascent is certainly a valid ascent. Congratulations on that.

I tried it on TR back in the late 70s and failed.

But if you want the excitement of a lead, but don't have the pro, then have your TR belayer take in the rope at only a few designated spots. Simulated lead, but make sure the rope passes safely over the top without the potential of getting cut.

Comments: Folks, the description says gear to 3 inches, which is the way one should always describe the gear.

When you talk about needing a "#3", us readers don't know if you're talking about model Y of brand X or model M of brand Z. In contrast, inches never change from one manufacturer to another...

Comments: Nice to hear that a senior can get some school credit for route-work.

And indeed, someday I will be projecting routes like this.

Comments: I've never seen it anywhere near this crowded at this wall. In fact, each time I went here, our party was by itself. I guess I've been lucky.

Comments: I like the yellows on this wall.

Nice place to go if you want shade. It also has some of my favorite Vantage routes.

Comments: Serendipity is such a fun line. It's nice to have variations like this one.

But how many bolts?

Comments: Sounds intriguing and fun.

But I'm wondering if you could double-check or clarify two things:

1) The location and direction.

This is given as being the furthest right of all the routes on the wall. Yet it 'trends right' and nevertheless reaches the same anchor as routes to its left?

If instead it is the routes to the left that need more description (e.g., "traverse 50' right at the top"@SEM... more >>

Comments: As this title has three names for two routes (even though one is a variation of the other, and both are variations of a third), you might add a second listing for the variation and reduce the bulkiness of the title.

There is plenty of space here on Mt. Project for giving each variation its own listing. It's fine if much of the text is copied (i.e., self-plagiarized).

Comments: I have some good scraping tools and would be game. My preference is for cleaning new lines, but could rescrub some old as well.

Perhaps we can meet there sometime so I could learn where the routes are.

But I guess one has to hike the trail and search for oneself.

Comments: Deceptive perspective -- it took awhile for me to decide that this was looking downslope. The blueness of the sky right at the snow boundary suggests an upward shot.

Comments: Thanks. But I was also thinking about the rating for the free moves in the moss above. What are they rated (in their current state, not in a future cleaned state)?

About the first move, could a person of average height place a rock underneath to step on to reach the first bolt?

As Hummer- says, it is definitely harder than its rating suggests. And the start has a bad landing.
