Comments: The smallest piece I placed was a red C3. I found few in the red and yellow C3 sizes were nice to have. Enjoyed this route but after doing it I will be sure not to be anywhere near the base of this when someone is on it, particularly on the 3rd pitch as well as when they are rapping. Be very cautious when leading the 3rd pitch especially nearing the traverse out left, there are a few good size rocks ready to go.

Comments: I love how people tell other people that had trouble at the roof that they won't???

Comments: The obvious hold at the roof has broken off maybe making that move a bit harder if not just different but overall grade no harder.

Comments: I am sure I have done that climb 50 or more times, does it get any better? The raps seemed way above average, far from a nightmare. I doubt the raps have changed much but the climbers sure have. WTF we now have fixed rap lines???

Comments: This would be a good route if not for a difficult clip due to oddly placed bolt and unenjoyable runouts above the crux area and the finish.

Comments: 2 of the 4 bolts are no longer there. Now there are just 2 ugly holes. Thanks to whomever did this great community service. Bring a bunch of runners.

Comments: Fell going to the anchor when a foothold broke, bummer, blew the onsight. Only a small piece of rock hit my belayer in the head, glad she had a helmet on!

Comments: The madness and sadness is that people think it is ok to write the names of the routes on the wall, very disappointed to see this.

Comments: Amazing line! Bolt before the crux added unnecessary difficulty, hard to clip and the run-out to the anchor kinda ruined it for me. Otherwise, the bolting was perfect.5 stars for the line 3 for the bolt job.

Comments: Writing the route names on the rock is ghetto and very lame!

Comments: 4 star climbing, 2 star rock quality. Did not take much to pull a 3' long x 6" section off midway up the corner. Glad I tested it on the way up and was able to avoid it for the most part. On the way down, on my 2nd lap after my belayer was in the clear, less than a laybacking pull got it to go. Other sections seemed dubious as well. Only bring 2s if you don't have enough 1s.

Comments: All this blah blah blah about 3s or 3.5s or 4s??? Had me out searchen for more 3.5s. Walked around the campground trying to borrow 3.5s. Dude told me 3s and 4s were fine, so I tried with what I had. #3s were great for most of the pitch. 4s were very tight and kinda a pain to get in. #3.5s were good for a lot of it but tight for much. With all the big cams I was glad to protect the start with a few cams before things got real. An old 4 then a new 4 low then 3s or 3.5s most of the way with a 4 up ... more >>

Comments: Fun route other than the start to get the good first piece, that part kinda sucked. After that hard and awkward over bulge then fun mellow perfect #6 crack.

Comments: I got the on-sight but it took some grunting. Scarface was a cake walk in comparison. I did not have stoppers but I did have a red and a pink Tri-cam which was perfect at the crux.

Comments: If you look at the book you will see you are both right. Mega Mega is right of the first pitch of Ratso but then left of the second pitch.
