Comments: For those curious, the right-of-the-bolt-line beta still goes as well, and it didn't seem to change the grade. The second to last clip is slightly harder and the move out of the position is maybe more precarious, but overall it didn't really seem to change the route all that much. Besides the fact that the right hand pinch was just an awesome hold to grab!

Comments: I think if this route was a boulder problem people would love it and call it V5 or V6; as a route it feels kinda weird and silly. I dunno, still enjoyed it though.

Comments: Hey Chad, bummer that hold broke! I loved that little pinch, it was such a cool hold.

I suggest we leave the route as it is and not add more glue to the Primo Wall. I'm sure the route still goes, and now we have a new challenge to overcome.

Comments: Hey Chad, all rebolting efforts are now managed by Jefferson County Open Space. You can find their rules and regulations regarding replacing hardware on this page, and you can download their guidelines as well as an application to replace hardware there as well.

You can email them here.

Comments: If Tommy did the FA and named this Lone Star, then why was the name changed and why is the name change upheld here?

Comments: I took down a bright green rope tied off to a belay bolt here yesterday. It was left to help access the Reefer Madness area of the wall is my guess, but you could see it clearly from the road a mile away. I left the rope at the sign in box at the base. If you feel it's necessary to fix a line to access the wall, can you please use a white or black rope? Bright green fixed lines are just screaming for attention from the JeffCo rangers, which we don't need any more of considering all the new regul... more >>

Comments: A nice warm-up for the area, a little runout from the last bolt on the ten to the roof bolt, but once you get to the crack, it's probably the easiest moves on the route.

Comments: To whomever installed the ladder at the tyrolean, thanks for the efforts! Makes it super easy to access now, but I'm wondering why you took down my static line for the tyrol and replaced it with dynamic? Was the line bad? I'd like to get my line back if it's not going to be used.

Comments: This is a pretty cool route that packs a punch in 25 feet. If you skip the bottom crux (climbing off the ground), then I highly doubt the upper crux warrants 5.12 on its own, maybe 12a at best, but that might be generous. Worth doing, and if it's a hot sunny day, this one is in the shade, but if you can climb on the south face, definitely don't do this route first. There are much higher quality routes on the other side.

Comments: Not sure about that one, I thought it was a 5.12 that's been done before but probably not in a long long time. Then again the description on this page says it's a project, so who knows....

Comments: Amazing route and lots of fun. I don't understand why there is a run-out ground fall potential between bolts 2 and 3 though. Granted it's easy climbing, but holds break, feet slip, and shit happens. Why put that risk into this route when it's a fully bolted sport route?
