Comments: This is soooo much more heinous than it looks (and it looks pretty heinous).

Comments: This last fall, Tim Kemple Jr. added a sit start to The Big Short (The Bigger Short?) at V8 or 9.

Comments: This is a good route up a pretty unique feature. Given that WI sorely lacks for bolted moderates, this route should become super popular.

Comments: This was a lot harder than it looked. It's on you right when you leave the anchor. I even used a knee bar to get to the lip above the upper roof. 11c minimum, IMHO.

Comments: Pretty small. Last time I did it, it was kind of a 1/4 pad sidepull undercling. It's been getting steadily worse since the FA.

Comments: A climber who shall remain nameless broke a crucial (for me) hold off this route. The nice gaston by the fourth bolt is now no more. I'm sure the route still goes, but not at its current grade. Things fall apart, I guess.

Comments: This is a fun route, but the ellipsis in the middle of the name bumps it down a star.

Comments: Fun little route! It was hiding in plain sight all these years until Chris had the vision.

I called it 12a, mostly because this cliff needs a 5.12. Also it felt similar in difficulty to Peanut Man.

Comments: This is from Stone Crusade, John Sherman's excellent bouldering guide to the United States, published in 1999: "Twenty feet left of Pound Crack is West End (5.11c), a problem anyone would want a rope on. It has been bouldered, but only by those suckered in by the apparently large holds above the tweaky start. After several surely-that-next-full-hand-edge-couldn't-slope-as-bad-as-this-one moves, one commits to a pumping finish or a lengthy hospital stay."

Comments: Hi Christian, I thought the hardest move was about midway on the route. I think where the line veers left (check out the photo), you grab a hold out left and make a hard move to a flat crimp. Clipping the anchors was hard as well, but not as hard as that midway move. Now that I think about it, that crux move was really cool, and kinda made the route doing, despite it being so short. Hope this helps!

Comments: This is in the running for the worst route I've done at Rumney. It's dirty, always wet, bolted weirdly, and generally sketchy all around, though I'm told that some people (i.e., Lee) like this kind of climbing.
