Comments: The book lists this route as 9+ but that assumes you climb the second pitch. The first pitch as described here felt more like 5.8

Comments: I did. I wound up bailing after several bolts. The holds are very difficult and not so positive. I thought it was an interesting climb none the less

Comments: Check your ass between the second and third clips, I fell and hit the ledge behind the climb full force. I was fine, but now have a bruised ass.

Comments: Why is the area named Oak Flats? The area is called Oak Flat.

Comments: The route is fairly run out, falling at any of the bolting stances will probably result in hitting a ledge.

Comments: I'd like to echo Ted's sentiment regarding the difficulty of the route. The run out between the first and second bolts definitely places this climb in the PG13 range and the grade of 5.8 is extremely sandbagged considering all of the moves on bulging faces.

Comments: It seems that the two biners on the chains were bootied as of Sunday, 5/12
