Comments: Watch for a few torso sized loose blocks just after the first belay from the guide book (half way up the first pitch according to the topo here), avoid them at all cost as they'll likely kill your belayer, anyone climbing on lower 5.8 wall, and/or passersby on Ogden Canyon road.

Also, if you're willing to drag an extra #4 up with you there is a fun off width splitter (5.7 40') on the walk off protectable with the same rack.

Comments: Any pro you place in the crack before the first face section will need long runners to reduce rope drag higher up, same with the badly placed bolt (if you decide to clip it, which I would advise against).

The hand crack is beautiful, but the face above is a little scary with sparse pro and a long runout to the anchor.

Don't forget a tagline, and rap off quick, there's always someone waiting on this classic line!

I'd like to clear up a few issues w/ the route description in the local guidebooks:

Pitch 1: Clip the first 3 bolts for "Leopard Skin" then follow them straight up to a well protected traverse under a nice belay ledge. 12 bolts (not 10) to a 2 bolt anchor. 120' (not 1... more >>
