Comments: The lower half of this route was very fun, and I found that smaller stoppers seemed to be the only adequate protection. I concur with Doug's statement, and I placed a cam in the chimney, then stemmed out right and followed the outside face to the top.

Comments: Classic crack problem! This thing has a smattering of each size jam, minus fists or off-hands. Very aesthetic climbing.

Comments: My partner was unable to clean my purple 0.5 Camalot on Little Rebel Crack, as it seems to have walked itself into an overcammed position. It's just above the overhang, and fair game for whoever can free it. I'll be out of town for a couple weeks, and won't have the chance to go back anytime soon, so go grab yourself some booty!

Comments: First time to Necedah today, and I thouroughly enjoyed it! The views and exposure can't be beat for single pitch climbing in the Midwest! My partner was unable to clean my purple 0.5 Camalot on Little Rebel Crack (great route Steve!), as it seems to have walked itself into an overcammed position. It's just above the overhang, and fair game for whoever can free it. I'll be out of town for a couple weeks, and won't hav... more >>

Comments: Led this absolute classic this evening, after having followed it once before. Was able to place two solid pieces w/slings in the alcove before the traverse, and it gave me the security needed to make the step across. From there, it's totally classic moderate crack climbing at its finest (imho) ! Plenty of good gear to be found. I agree with others comments regarding the wasp's nest, and I stirred them up a bit, but was able to place a #3 and then tr... more >>

Comments: Led this classic for the first time this evening, after having followed/TR it a couple times in the past. I felt there was enough gear to place before committing to the crux moves to make it feel safe, and the the rest is just a super fun climb, with plenty of secure holds/jams, and great gear options. Highly recommended to anyone considering leading it!
