More Info
I've lead several 5.7 climbs, but as of this writing, that was 25 years ago. So at this point I'm claiming a modest 5.5, as I get back into this sport a bit. I guess my claim to fame is climbing Mt. Rainier in January of 1980 with a couple of friends... one of whom turned out to have fabricated his training regimen, leading to a bivouac just after summiting, and just below the summit, in 60+ MPH wind that created a whiteout ground blizzard. On Rainier in January, nights spent "out" last approximately a month. To date, the epic physical adventure of my life.
