Nov 22, 2022 · Follow. Amelia climbed as high as she could with one rope. I followed to make it to the top (4 more bolts) and build a two rope anchor. But I failed. Wasn’t brave brought to make the last hard move that I probably could have made but I was pumped, unfit and scared. Bailed and left 2 QD’s. We’ll be back to finish this business.

Aug 4, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Did this with Amelia on the way to Ojai. Fun morning!! Early start from a nice hotel in Moab, messed up the approach a bit but got there eventually. Scrambled up to ledge. Amelia tried first pitch but couldn’t do it. I got up with some aid. Second pitch led chimney was rad! Used lots and lots of pro because I was a little scared. Third pitch pretty easy, with aid! 4 pitch was freaking awesome.. did the walkway and bellyflop fine, got kid of stuck and run out climbing the corkscrew went the wrong way but managed to get there in the end. With some aid. Amelia got stuck on the last move but was happy with the day. She was so brave on the walkway!! Kind of tripped on the way back which gave me a huge fright. Then headed on back and to Vegas!! Great day!
